YAP! — Young Americans Protest — experiments with ways ordinary people, especially young people, can learn, speak, organize, participate, and build power around decisions happening in their communities.
We take complicated civic issues and turn them into clear, accessible ways for people to understand what's happening — and actually participate. Not a nonprofit template, not a government portal: a working notebook for local organizing.
Each civic issue we take on becomes its own initiative — with the same shape every time: what's happening, what the evidence says, and what you can do.
